ITEM AVAILABILITY

We make every effort to keep an updated inventory, though occasionally we sell out of products sooner than anticipated. Items may need to be transferred from our warehouse, which will delay shipment by a few days.  If we are out of stock of an item that you ordered, we will notify you via e-mail.  Any changes will be reflected in your order total. 

 

CREDIT CARDS

Mary Phillips Designs accepts Visa, Master Card, and American Express.  Your credit card is not charged until we ship your order.  Your card is charged only for the items that we ship you, not items that are not in stock or have been cancelled.  Your invoice will be included in your package. You will be notified via email or phone if there is a problem with your credit card during order processing.

 

SALES TAX

Sales tax is charged for orders that ship to North Carolina.

 

TRACK ORDER

You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your order has been placed as successfully transmitted.  You may check the status of your order at anytime by visiting “Your Account”.  A shipping confirmation with your package’s tracking number will be sent to you from UPS, via e-mail once your order has shipped.  At this time you are able to track the shipping status of your order using a tracking number, by visiting UPS.com and entering your tracking number. 

 

MODIFY / CANCEL ORDER

If you need to modify or cancel your order please e-mail or call customer service as soon as possible and we will do so for you.  We are unable to send an updated electronic order confirmation, but we will make note of any changes on the packing slip you will receive with your package. Once an order has left our warehouse, we cannot cancel or modify it.  You would need to place a separate order, then place a return or exchange.

 

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

All orders from Mary Phillips Designs are shipped via UPS.  We offer standard and premium delivery. Standard Delivery is usually within 5 to 7 business days. Orders are processed on the first available business day after your order is placed. Standard shipping costs for the continental United States are as follows:

Orders up to $25 shipping charge $7.95

Orders up to $50 shipping charge $9.95

Orders up to $75 shipping charge $11.95

Orders up to $100 shipping charge $13.95

Orders up to $150 shipping charge $15.95

Orders up to $200 shipping charge $17.95

For orders in excess of $200, please email us for a shipping quote.

Premium Delivery is guaranteed within 2 business days from the time your order is placed.  To guarantee this, your order must be received by 7:00am EST.  Any orders placed after 7:00am EST, will be processed the following business day, allowing an additional day for guaranteed delivery. In some cases delivery cannot be guaranteed and you will be contacted by a customer service representative within 24 hours.

Please email us if you would like a shipping quote for Premium Delivery. Premium Delivery is not available outside of the continental United States.

 

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

For shipping outside the continental United States, please email us the items you wish to purchase, as well as your shipping address and we will send you a shipping quote. Please provide a street location to receive your order.  We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses. 

We do not offer Sunday or holiday delivery.

UPS does not require a signature upon delivery.  UPS will leave your package at the safest location at your address. You will also receive an email from UPS letting you know your package has been delivered. If you have further instructions for UPS please indicate so at “customer notes” during your payment process.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Here is a list of cookies that we use. We’ve listed them here so you that you can choose if you want to opt-out of cookies or not.
_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
PREF, persistent for a very short period, Set by Google and tracks who visits the store and from where
